Not just for women in STEM, but they do seem to have reports and stuff about gender participation in maths.
The Further Mathematics Support Programme (FMSP) is supported by the Department for Education and managed by Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI), an independent educational charity.
FMSP Area Coordinators, covering the whole of England, work with schools and colleges to support and promote the study of AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and to arrange Further Mathematics tuition for students when their schools and colleges cannot provide it themselves. The FMSP provides training and support to teachers of AS/A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics and KS4 Higher Tier Mathematics. The FMSP supports the development of Higher Level Problem Solving skills including support for teachers helping students prepare for STEP, AEA and MAT examinations.
They are managed by Mathematics in Education and Industry (MEI) http://mei.org.uk/
MEI is committed to improving mathematics education and promotes teaching and learning through different strands of activity. We support teachers through a range of professional development opportunities, including our annual conference. Innovative resources are continually being developed to extend and enrich your knowledge of mathematics, whether teacher, student, undergraduate or member of the workforce.
MEI takes various opportunities to share and discuss with you the changing landscape of mathematics education, including consultation, discussions, social media, and our newsletters. Another way you can get involved is through our membership scheme. Our local branches for Members and Educational Associates provide professional development as well as a forum for discussion.
MEI is an independent charity; any income generated through our work is used to support mathematics education. We are a partner in the NCETM consortium, with responsibility for the secondary mathematics strand and also manage the government-funded Further Mathematics Support Programme.
