The importance of a "science identity"

Really interesting article about how possessing a science identity is more likely to keep you in science, compared to academic achievement. Which makes sense when you think about it, as it’s partly to do with feeling like you belong to a group.

Anyway, the article focuses on scientists who are women of colour, and talks about their identities and how things like discrimination can affect their “science identity”.
